This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Astoria is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Astoria is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Truth in Astoria and would rate it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The food was absolutely outstanding. For the appetizer, we started with the oysters, cucumbers, and salmon roll. The combination was fantastic the oysters was incredibly fresh, plump, and briny, pairing beautifully with the crisp, clean crunch of the cucumber and the rich salmon. For the main course, I ordered the steak frites cooked medium rare. It was executed perfectly juicy, tender, and seasoned beautifully. The only reason I am knocking off a star is because they did not have any white wine available during our visit. I was really looking forward to pairing a nice crisp glass with the seafood appetizer, so the lack of options was a bit disappointing. That being said, the kitchen talent is undeniable. The food alone makes Truth highly worth a visit, and I will definitely be back!

I had a great experience at Truth Bar & Lounge from beginning to end. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The host was especially welcoming. One thing I highly recommend is making a reservation. We arrived without one, and while they accommodated us, most guests do show up for their reservations, so be prepared to wait if you don't have one. Now let's talk about the drinksβabsolutely amazing. There was a bartender with spiky hair who made what might honestly be the best drink I've ever had. Every drink was delicious and perfectly crafted. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the hookah was smooth and enjoyable. The ambiance is beautiful, upscale, and definitely picture-worthy. It's the perfect spot for a girls' night, date night, or any occasion where you actually want to have a conversation and enjoy the company you're with. The music could be a little better depending on your taste. Don't expect a heavy R&B or hip-hop vibe. However, once you're enjoying the food, drinks, and atmosphere, you honestly stop paying attention to the music because the overall experience is that good. Truth

First time here and it so happens for Happy Hour with $10 drinks and also a limited Happy hour menu but you can still order off the dinner menu if you wish..For starters we had the Rock shrimp and it was AMAZING... Take my word for it and order off the dinner menu rock shrimp cause its more TRUST ME!!!!! Happy hour and dinner menu orders are both the same flavor wise but the dinner menu one is more quantity wise.. Then we had the Mushroom bao bun and even though its small its DELICIOUS..Its quality over quantity. Last but not least we had the chicken lo mein and once again no complaints.. DELICIOUS!!!! Thank you Truth restaurant and Chris our server for an awesome experience!

My first visit to TRUTH was not what I expected in the best possible way. From the moment we arrived, the experience turned out to be absolutely amazing. The food, drinks, and especially our server Chris were outstanding. Chris took the time to explain the menu and make recommendations, and everything he suggested was excellent. His service truly elevated the entire experience. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming TRUTH is very fortunate to have him. We ordered two Lychee Martinis, the Cucumber Salad, Steak Binchotan (which comes with two pieces), the Signature Fried Rice with steak, and the Midnight Miso. My best friend and I shared everything and were extremely satisfied. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. I genuinely loved the food and will absolutely be coming back for it. The only minor issue we experienced was that our Lychee Martinis took a little longer to arrive, and they were brought out at the same time as our appetizers. Ideally, the drinks would have come out earlier. However, this was a small detail compared to the overall fantastic experience. The atmosphere is beautiful stylish and vibrant, with a vibe that rem

I went for my best friend's mother's birthday. We were seated immediately by the friendly hostess. Our server came to us in a timely manner, very polite and professional. She had an understanding of the menu and was able to answer the questions from our party. The menu wasn't as extensive as I would have liked. We did a bunch of appetizers and the pepper. I would definitely come on a cute litter date. It's small, which surprised me from the pictures I've seen. The neighborhood was quiet too. The night manager was a gem as well, very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Mother enjoyed which was the cherry on top.
